GRAND - The “GOOS Regional Alliances Network Development” (GRAND) is an action in support of international cooperation for research on global change and ecosystems funded by the European Commission 6th Framework Programme. The main aim of GRAND is to support the GOOS Regional Alliances (GRAs) to optimise the performance of coastal operational oceanography using the global products of GOOS.
MAMA - The Mediterranean network to Assess and upgrade Monitoring and forecasting Activity in the region was a 3-year EU-funded project, with a partnership from all the riparian countries, aimed to establish the multi-national network and regional platform for routine marine observations and forecasts in the Mediterranean.
MeDir - The Mediterranean Directory of Marine Scientists and Professionals, MeDir, is a database product developed on similar lines to GLODIR under the auspices of the Intergovernmental Oceanographic Commission of UNESCO (IOC) and with the support of MedGOOS (the Global Ocean Observing System for the Mediterranean).
