The MedGOOS Secretariat

The MedGOOS Secretariat was set up following a decision of the MedGOOS Executive Board at the meeting in Genova in September 1998. It is located in Malta where it is now hosted by the IOI-Malta Operational Centre at the University of Malta .

The main role of the MedGOOS Secretariat is:

•  to maintain links between the MedGOOS Members

•  provide administrative support and co-ordinate the MedGOOS activities

•  disseminate information on MedGOOS
